History and Mission of the LTC
The Livingston Theatre Company is a
home for the theatrical arts at Livingston College
and Rutgers University. Founded in
the fall of 1998, the LTC provides quality
and affordable musical theatre to Rutgers students
and the communities of Central New Jersey.

Membership and Involvement
The Livingston Theatre Company is open to all undergraduate students at Rutgers University,
regardless of college affiliation or major.
We encourage all students to take part
in productions, and to attend our meetings
and special events.  We have opportunities
for actors, directors, designers,
stage crew, musicians, business people, and student leaders. Each year, hundreds of students from across the university
get involved in our productions.  If you are interested,
come to our General Interest Meeting during the first
week of each semester, or to our General Board meetings throughout the year.

Productions
The Livingston Theatre Company
produces four musicals per year. Our
productions run for five performances over
one weekend: Thursday, Friday,
and Saturday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm,
and Sunday at 4pm.   The final show
of the season has additional 8pm
performances Wednesday-Saturday over the following weekend.
All performances are held in
the Livingston Student Center – College Hall.
We are dedicated to bringing
both famous and lesser
known musicals to Rutgers.

Student Leadership
The Livingston Theatre Company is completely run by undergraduate students.  It is managed by a student Executive Board, which is elected by the membership, and a General Board that is chosen through application and interview.  Anyone may apply, and selection is based upon experience and enthusiasm.  Production positions such as
director, musical director, choreographer, stage manager, scenic designer, costume designer, props designer, tech director, and lighting/sound designers are also filled for specific shows via application and interview.  Anyone interested in becoming a part of the company and learning about or taking a position should visit our Getting Involved page for more information.

LTC Alumni
After nine years of continual activity, the LTC has established a strong base of alumni, who continue to support us. View their page to learn more about what our alumni are doing after their time at Rutgers.
