From
the LTC-Have a Great Summer!
With the school year ended and the seniors graduated, we wish to thank each
contributor to our past season a final time.
To the graduating seniors: good luck in the next few months settling into
life after Rutgers. Visit alumni.rultc.org.
To our returning members: yes, we will post the season as soon as possible, we promise. However, please do not wait to let us know any positions that interest you. Tell us, so we can begin work earlier, and will have a stronger season by doing so.
Finally, to the incoming freshmen who visit our site this summer:
Welcome to
Rutgers! We hope that you love your time here, that you enjoy many of our musicals during your stay. We pledge to you that whatever your college, whatever your goals are for your next four
years, joining the LTC will be an excellent way of enriching your experience here.
Our company is a fun, exciting place that will give you a social network of members, current and alumni, or all programs of study. You will learn new skills, among them leadership and time management, that may be applied in a future career. If you choose, you may present your talents onstage or in the orchestra. Others may prefer working backstage solving unseen but crucial technical issues. Still more may prefer the office work, the business and marketing ends that make theater possible. Above all, everyone will be integral to a large-scale, completely student-run production. Please visit us in September. Livingston campus is not far away, no matter what anyone tells you. And your trip will always be worth it.
Sincerely, the 2008-2009 LTC Executive Board:
Matt Young, Managing Director
Sushil Dayal, Administrative Manager
Elise MacPherson, Artistic Director
David Destro, Assistant Producer
Want to join us? Submit an Application!
The LTC is always happy to receive
applications, both for our General Board and for staff positions for our 2008-2009 season.
The General Board, the business side of the company, is more important
than ever. Whether your interests lie in marketing, graphic design, fundraising,
planning large special events (Including coffeehouses and our annual
end-of-years banquet), or managing groups of the above students, there is a place for you
to learn and to grow. Use the link below to find out more and to apply.

The LTC also welcomes students wishing to participate in the artistic and
technical creation of our musicals each season. If a staff position linked below interests you, apply
today!

LTC Merchandise

Show your support for the LTC all over Rutgers! Shirts, tote bags, & coffee mugs are just a few examples of our current selection.
This link has been up for a long time, with very little activity.
Part of this is due to a lack of new design ideas, in spite of a strong core
group who would doubtless buy out CafePress. So, if you have a great LTC idea at a party, make a sketch, and bring it to a Gen. Board Meeting, or e-mail it to the board. Good ideas are simple for us to implement and make available to everyone.
With enough purchases, we may even have the money for gifts to our members, above and beyond show T-shirts. But that is only possible if members buy merchandise first. Besides, color-coded LTC tote bags? Awesome. |
