Auditions to be in the cast of our first production of the season are this Thursday and Friday nights! Auditioners should prepare 16-32 bars of a showtune in the style of Anything Goes (but not from the show) to be sung a capella. Things to bring: course schedule for Fall 2015, conflicts, theatrical resume (if you have one), and a BOATload of confidence! Thursday, September 10: 7-11 PM, room 109 in the Livingston Student Center
Friday, September 11: 7-11 PM, Meeting Room B in the Douglass Student Center
There will also be an open dance call held on Sunday, September 13 at 10:30 AM in the Livingston Theatre Building (LTB), 31 Postal Plaza, Piscataway, NJ. To get to the LTB, take either a B or an LX bus to the Quads and walk to our building. Bring your tap shoes, wear comfortable clothing, and be ready to dance!
Auditions for our Anything Goes Pit Orchestra will also be held soon. These auditions will take place Friday, September 18 from 5-8 PM and Sunday, September 20 from 12-3 PM in the LTB (for address and directions see above). Please bring a 2-3 minute prepared piece of your choosing, and then we will have you sight-read from the score of the show. Any questions may be sent to Music@ruLTC.org regarding pit auditions!
